The Community Building experience offered by Roots n Permaculture is inspired by ecovillage design learning principles. Participants are invited to explore community building by forming collaborative relationships and practising shared governance and communication.
The focus is on experiencing collaboration in practice rather than only learning about it theoretically. Participants explore how trust, understanding and mutual support can be cultivated within a community setting.
From Learning to Living Community
This experience was developed to make community knowledge more accessible by transforming understanding into practice. Participants form a temporary learning community where they explore how agreements, communication and governance support collective wellbeing.
Community building tools are used to explore harmony when collaboration is intentional, respectful and meaningful. Social harmony is rare in modern society and therefore deeply valuable.
